Our Veterinarian

Dr. Eva Dudzic
Dr. Eva Dudzic

Dr. Dudzic graduated from WCVM in Saskatoon in 1996. Originally from Edmonton, Alberta, she spent 6 years in Saskatoon attending veterinary school then as a practicing vet in small animal and equine practice.

She spent 1.5 years in Martensville SK practicing small animal and equine medicine with surgeries, two and a half years in Maple Ridge in a small animal clinic, then performed locum relief in various clinics and emergency clinics around the Lower Mainland. She always knew she wanted her own clinic, so she spent that time learning the most she could from various sources. She decided Victoria is the place to call home. In 2001 she purchased Oak Bay Pet Clinic from Dr. Hoey, who had owned the clinic for 30 years. She expanded the practice within the first year to include dentistry and small procedures. In 2015, Oak Bay Pet Clinic became a full service facility offering all surgical and radiology needs.

She continues to enjoy the Oak Bay Community and building her clientele, meeting new patients. Her passions are medicine, geriatric and palliative care, behavior medicine. She has been performing surgeries since her graduation and dentistry since 2005. She has extensive knowledge and continuing education in behavior medicine, where she spent time in the US and Australia performing cases with other veterinary behavior medicine specialists.

She lives in Metchosin on her small hobby farm, enjoying her animal menagerie. Her newest dog 'Minnie' came from an abuse seizure through the BCSPCA and is recovering very well from her past fears. Rita, her cat of 8 years, was adopted through the clinic when her owners could no longer manage her aggression. Rita is now fully recovered. Rebel, the gelding, came from 6 different homes to enjoy a life of leisure with his equine friend, Leah. Leah was adopted from being a brood mare, where she was neglected, living in very small quarters. Dr. Eva loves birds so 5 chickens roam her acreage and two budgies with two little finches fly in her house. She will never tire of having animals as her best friends.

Dina Ogmer

We are so excited and pleased to welcome Din as our newest addition.  It has been a long haul for Din to finally call Victoria home as we had to find her far and wide, from the Phillipines.  She is a vet in her home country, and practiced for 4 years in Singapore as a veterinary technician.  She is going to bring much needed skill, wisdom, maturity and growth to our clinic team.

So happy to finally get our tech! So worth the wait....she will be an integral part of the veterinary experience for you and your pet.
